コントラを愛する皆さん、ご無沙汰です。

いくつかお知らせあります。

1.　5月（今週末）はコントラはありません！いろいろな準備があって忙しい。申し訳ありません。



2.　6月にコントラのイベントは二つもあります！まず、6月5日（日）に何ヶ月間ぶりに伏見でコントラをやります！詳細は後ほど。多くの人をお待ちしています。そして、6月25日に日仏学館の「音楽祭」 (link: http://ifjk.jp/ja/events/event-detail/18 ) にコントラを紹介します！ 2時に 子供のためのワークショップをやって、3時ごろにまた一般向けのワークショップをやります。ロマンさんもフランスの踊りを5時ごろに紹介します。多くの人々にコントラを紹介するいいチャンスになりますが、皆さんのお手伝いが必要になります。詳しいことは4のところを見てください。(6月にいつもの高野コントラはありません)。



3.　京都コントラは進化してゆく！アメリカからのコントラ・ミュージシャン、ピーター・ダマシェクがわれわれのチームに入りました！彼がサンディエゴなどアメリカのいろいろなところでコントラを演奏してきたすごい人です。ずっと京都に住んでいる人で、これからのイベントに出てくれるらしい。ピーターさんがパソコンがうまい人で、Facebookで「コントラ・イン・京都」のグループを作ってくれました。これから皆さんとも、そして新しい人とも簡単に連絡することができます。ぜひ参加してください( http://www.facebook.com/home.php?sk=group_124139417666779 )。



4.ボランティア募集！！！

まず「音楽祭」のときに一緒にコントラの見本をやってくれる人々を必要としています。興味のある方早く私に連絡をください。

もう一つ、上に言ったように、高野と伏見のコントラが進化していく。一人、二人でやることよりコミューにティー（皆で）でやることになります。ひとりだけじゃとても力足りませんが、皆でがんばれば、もっとすごいイベントができると信じています。皆さんのエネルギーとアドヴァイスがほしいです。コントラが好きなかた、協力してください。 contrakyoto@gmail.comに（英語か日本語で）メールをおくってくれれば、一緒になにができることについて考えることができます。

1. Bad news: NO regular Takano Dance in May (that is no dance this Saturday). Too busy reorganizing.

2. Good news: Fushimi is BACK! Next dance is on June 5th...more info upcoming. Also, in June, we have been invited to participate in the French Institute's Fete de la Musique, on June 25th (link: http://ifjk.jp/ja/events/event-detail/18 ). This is a great opportunity to reach out to more people and get new dancers, but we do need some help with this project. See below. There will be two contradance demonstrations, one for for kids and one for adults. Romain will also be holding a demo of French Dances. ( This event will take the place of the regular Takano Contra. )

3. GREAT News: Contrakyoto is starting a new collaboration with Peter Damaschek, a fine Contra Dance musician from San Diego and elsewhere in the US. He lives in Kyoto. He is going to be playing for upcoming dances US. His being here is an opportunity to do something here in Kyoto and he has started a FACEBOOK PAGE for contra in kyoto.

Now it is even easier to keep up and get involved with contra dance in Kyoto. Here is the link:

4. We need volunteers for two reasons.

First, for the Fete de la Musique, we need some volunteers who would be willing to talk about why they like contradance and to help with the demonstration. Please email me ASAP if you are interested.

Secondly, the Takano Dance and Contrakyoto is changing. It is becoming a COMMUNITY-RUN project. We need a few more volunteers to help give it guidance and energy, so that it can continue to grow. クライストチャーチ地震後の再開ダンスで、みなさんお元気で安心。

３つ目のビデオはスクエアダンスのフォーメーションでコントラダンスをしているので、次回やってみたいですね。
